A cheeky visitor

This little squirrel has been visiting my tray and suet feeders lately. I know a lot of folks don't like squirrels, but I don't mind her. She's actually pretty funny and so long as she doesn't tear up my bird feeders, she can stick around.

And speaking of cheeky...here is a blue jay:

With spring comes bird nests and new babies. I've been watching this red-bellied woodpecker carving out a nest cavity for a few days now...can't wait to see the babies fledge when the time comes!

In other news...the sun has FINALLY broken through the clouds this morning and it's going to be a fabulous 70*F!! Hurray!

ENJOY THE DAY- YOU ONLY GET ONE AT A TIME! :)

Your little squirrel is cute and they are hilarious to watch, but look out she doesn't bring friends. I have atleast 15 or 20 and they are breaking me up in birds seeds!!!! I hope your red belly stays and has babies. What fun that will be. I'll be watching! Thanks for answering my ?'s on mantids.
