Woodland Birds

More woodland species...I've posted a couple pine warblers before, but I think this is my first decent wren photo. The Carolina Wren is the species that built a nest in my barn in 2007. One of my most favorite birds!


By the way, these photos were taken with my new Olympus DSLR that was given to me as an early birthday present. It's really so much more than I could have ever hoped for in a camera. How awesome is that? God DOES bless his children in the most unexpected ways.

Happy Birthday Christy and congratulations on the new camera....your photos are wonderful.
Your little Carolina Wren is very similar in markings to my House Wren.
