Winter is here!

Well, our first taste of wintry precipitation arrived yesterday in the form of a few inches of snow and we're expecting more tonight and tomorrow. Although I'm not a big fan of being cold a trudging through the wet muck snow leaves behind, it has been a great opportunity to photograph some neat birds at the feeders.

I really like the way you framed some of your shots and that Purple Finch is outstanding. We've already had the white stuff for a couple of weeks and we're expecting a few inches more this weekend.
