Jumping Spiders, Daisies, and Allium bulbs...

What do all these things have in common? Why, they were on my morning walk! I even found a ringneck snake and boy was she a little beauty. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me, but here's a link that will tell you a bit more. They're such neat little snakes. Contrary to the picture shown in the link, most ringnecks in my area have a bright orange almost fluorescent belly.

Meanwhile...this beautiful little jumping spider was making herself at home on some wild daisies, scoping out those who dare come to close for breakfast.

I do enjoy a pretty daisy and this one especially caught my eye. Wildflowers are so neat because you never know what's gonna show up where next.

And lastly, the old allium 'bulbs' are a bloomin'. Allium is the name of the onion family genus and this pretty little 'flower' is what's called 'crow garlic' and it's everywhere in the fields around here. Some folks call them wild onions, which I guess they are really, but I don't know that I'd eat them.

Oh, Chris. I admire you for enjoying looking at snakes. I must admit that for some reason, I just can't enjoy them and I have harmless garter snakes in my garden and when I see them, this old grandma really runs--or at least walks pretty fast!

I'm enjoying your photography!
