Butterfly Time

Well, the butterflies are finally beginning to show up...well, sort of. I've seen some small skippers and a few swallowtails, which never seem to want to 'pose' for a photo, but not the usual quantities.

I believe these are summer azures, from what I understand spring azures are not so common anymore.



The early spring dragonflies seem to have retreated, with the exception of the common whitetails, and I am left to wait until mid summer for the darners and other assorted 'catches' to return. I suppose taking a trip to a local body of water would yield more promising photo ops, but I'm more interested in what shows up in my 'area' at the moment.
